Every business is different, so the services you need may vary. However, most companies are required to submit the following:
Year-End Accounts – Filed with Companies House each year.
Confirmation Statement – Keeps your company details up to date with Companies House.
Company Tax Return – Submitted to HMRC so they know how much Corporation Tax your company owes.
These core services are included as standard in all our packages.
Many company directors are also shareholders and choose to pay themselves a salary topped up with dividends from company profits.
⚠️ Dividend income isn’t taxed at source, so it must be reported separately to HMRC.
If you need to file Self Assessment tax returns, you can add them to your plan for:
£10 per month for the first two directors
£10 per month for each additional director
As your business grows and evolves, your accounting needs may change too. We offer a range of additional services that can be added or removed at any time, depending on your company’s requirements. These include bookkeeping, VAT returns, payroll management, and pensions administration — all available for affordable monthly fees.
Let your dedicated accountant take the stress out of Self Assessment
Everything your business needs, from registration to submission
Flexible bookkeeping services tailored to your business
A complete managed payroll service for directors and employees
Of course! Most small business owners take a salary at or below the National Insurance threshold and then receive the rest of their income as dividends from the company’s profits – but everyone’s different.
You’ll have your own assigned accountant who will go through all the options available, and what these might mean depending on your own unique circumstances.
Yes, any payroll services you request will be charged separately to your standard accountancy fees. We do it like this because not every company will require payroll, so we provide it as an additional service rather than bundling everything up into a more expensive package.
You’ll have unlimited support from your assigned accountant when you need it. You can talk to them via phone, email, or with a video call.
It’s not mandatory, and you’re allowed to take care of everything yourself if you prefer to. That said, running a limited company and being a director and shareholder comes with all sorts of legal responsibilities, tax obligations, and reporting rules.
It can be a lot to manage, so having an accountant can make life much easier. They’ll help you be as tax efficient as possible, comply with all the rules and deadlines, and be available when you need guidance.
Some companies do need to be audited, but there are exemptions to this. Companies with a turnover of less than £10.2 million, a balance sheet below £5.1 million, or fewer than 50 employees are generally exempt.
Yes, of course! The incorporation costs are included if you need us to set the company up, but we can look after your accounts whether your company has been going for a while, or you’ve only just started.
